I blame...... Hillary :)

I have a story. Hill and I arranged a little chat last Saturday. After we hung up the phone I went into Superstore..... without my keys! But I left the window open some, however could not get my arm in there. My timmy's coffee was getting colder and colder. So I ran inside and bought................... a tube of wrapping paper and NO that did not work. Now I am desperate. My mom and dad were busy and could not bring me a hanger in time to save the coffee so I ran inside bought a huge wooden spoon..... and yes that worked. Not only did I get into my car, enjoy the coffee but I really don't regret buying the wrapping paper or the spoon!

I got a job folks. Gotta just love that phone call. I was driving with Tavis and a little down that I had not heard back yet from the interview for Community Care. It was about 4:45pm and usually chinook health offices are closed. So I get a private call which means it is work probably wanting me to come in for a night shift at the beds. Me... not really interested but hey. I was wrong! It was the person hiring for Community Care and she offered me a .73 transitional grad nurse position. It is a one year temporary position.
I never saw myself working in this capacity however it is great experience. You are a case manager when you go into a persons home assess them and their environment. We support the client to remain as independent as possible. In this position I am working as a team with a more senior RN. I can apply for other positions as well when I want to within the year to begin working as an independent RN. Crazy!!!

So yeah, life is shifting and I can't believe I am starting a new job next week!!!
