Last sunday I woke up at 3:30 in the morning. It was crazy hot in my room and I was like man how can I get back to sleep? Do I even want to sleep? Not really... maybe I should watch the Office. And I did. I laughed and laughed and then fell back asleep ono the love seat which I can't stretch out on. This may contribute to my weird neck and back soreness this week.

another case of the mondays

If I remember correctly last monday was not my favorite day of the week. It looks like this week is starting off much the same way. At least there is consistancy in my life. Work is kinda a bomb shell which was hopefully diffused with diplomatic meetings between those who were very angry at each other...
Product had spilled and stained the floor. The coffee machine had overflowed. Its not that I mind disaster too much. In fact the time has flown by surprisingly fast. Now all the drama has dissapated hence me having time to post this.. :)

On a rainy day like this an armchair is about all I want to handle. haha
And tonight watching Survivor I am going to cuddle up in an armchair and try to outwit the others...

new addiction

face book. Are you kidding me? It took me awhile to join but I am totally there now. Its kinda fun connecting with peoples I have lost track of. I can actually figure out how to upload a picture. I don't know why but I am somewhat inept at blogspot. The cool thing though is that facebook has my blog on it and updates it every couple of hours...

Done classes. Oh yeah I mentioned that already. I am now working a bit more for the next couple weeks. If you wanna play with me give me a call. I like running and biking and rollerblading and starbucks... usually all at the same time. :)

Its the small gifts...

Something came in the mail about two weeks ago. It was not in my mail so much as it was more in Tavis's mail. What was inside this particular envelope was very exciting! An easter card from Tavis's parents to Tavis and a key chain for me. Now most people who know me or read my blog probably know that roll up the rim is a very important time of year for me. I shift my coffee gear into Tim Horten's because I can win more coffee or cookies. Sometimes those rims are difficult to roll up though. Usually I stuggle through but from here on in I no longer have to struggle. See I now am the very proud owner of a roll up the rim key chain where all you need to do is place the gizmo on the rim of the cup and pull it up. It works well although I had to practice on a couple cups to perfect my technique. A big thank-you to the Newman's for making my roll up the rim efforts much easier. I must sadly say though that as of yesterday roll up the rim is over. I have not won anything for awhile but maybe in my off season training I will be ready for the next roll up the rim contest!!!

just got back home...

Spent some time in Salmon Arm for the Easter break. It was fabulous. I went out to visit Daron and Shauna aka Sharon and Donna, with Tavis. They live in an adorable house but more importantly they are a very adorable couple. They accomadated us as well as a variety of other visitors and were very hospitable. For Easter the four of us went to Kelona where Shauna's parents hosted a very yummy dinner.
Driving with Tavis is always an adventure so the total amount of driving time really added up to some funny silliness. In fact sometimes we can launch into a musical instead of having a conversation. In a musical it probably would not make sense in a conversation so it really works out.
BC was gorgeous and really makes my heart long for spring. The trees were budding and blossoming already. Snow was awaiting us in Lethbridge so I will try to practice patience and in the age of global warming I will wait for spring to come...
